Description:The Afisha Picnic is an international outdoor music festival held in Moscow, Russia. Every July it gathers 50 000 attendees at Kolomenskoye, a former tsars estate, now a state-owned historical, architectural and nature reserve museum close to the city center.
Performances of world acclaimed acts, gurus and prodigies of local independent scene are mixed with all sorts of entertainment such as designers market, gastronomic area, games, movies, lectures, etc.
There are minimum three stages, with the Main Stage features big international and Russian acts, Idle Conversation Stage run by the hip Moscow gang of musicians, journalists and promoters with synth-pop, electro and disco acts, and the third stage for presenting talented local artists to dominate the scene in the next years.
The festival is organized by the Afisha Magazine, a major Russian entertainment and listings biweekly.
